• Responsible for administrative and operational HR tasks within an assigned Business Unit(s)
• Employee Onboarding : new hire documents, employee communications, HRIS set-up and orientation sessions
• Employee Offboarding : employment closeout in HR systems, schedule exit interviews and issue State and Federal Unemployment documents.
• Employee Changes
• Responsible for timely and accurate data entry into various HR systems
• Handle general HR inquiries and administrative requests including employment verifications
• Conduct and complete HR / Payroll audits
• Maintain a high-level of confidentiality of employee data
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws
• Help develop processes / policies that enhance internal operations
• Assist with the summer internship program, ensuring a productive and engaging experience
• Partner with the HR team on the rollout of new programs and HR-related initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you bring to the role

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2-3 years of experience as an HR generalist, preferably in a technology company
• Knowledge of local and federal employment laws and regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels of the business
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)
• Experience with HRIS and Talent management systems; Workday experience preferred
• Detailed oriented with excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency
• Attention to detail, and analytically driven
• Experience in immigration (. visas, Green Cards)

California location only. The anticipated on-target earnings range for this role is $84,000 - $95,000. We recognize that cost-of-living disparities, market conditions, and other factors can significantly impact compensation expectations in different regions.
