This position will be responsible for the operation of the extruder for pet food production and sanitation of work areas to ensure it is ready for production.
Job Duties:

• day-to-day operation of the plant
• Work with the Meat Room and Mill to ensure product meets specifications
• Setup of the Extruder daily
• Inspection of product to make sure it is meeting customer specifications, density, and size
• Follow instructions of Extruder operator
• set up of die plates and knives on extruder
• troubleshoot equipment to ensure product is within specifications
• Clean under and around conveyors, extruder, and other plant machinery
• Clean and setup pumps
• Calibration of pumps

Job Requirements:

• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to obtain Fork/Truck license
• Follow GMP's and safety protocols
• Great trouble-shooting skills
• Computer literate
• Team effort and communication
• Willing and able to stand for long periods of time
• Attention to detail and desire to clean is a must
• Mechanically inclined

Hours:

• Monday - Friday

3rd Shift

• 10pm - 6:30am

Job Type: Full-time
