Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an experienced Operational Support Superintendent to join our team at the Carlin operations. This critical role will oversee the management of hydrology, dewatering, and site services to ensure the achievement of health and safety, environmental, production, cost, and cash flow targets.As the Operational Support Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and active participation in the management of the site services operation team, ensuring adherence to health and safety, environmental, production, cost, and cash flow targets.
• Foster collaboration, coordination, and effective communication with other site divisions and Nevada Gold Mines Technical Services groups.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of professionals, promoting continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Demonstrate proficiency in site project evaluation, well drilling, budgeting, and planning for mine dewatering and hydrology operations (both open-pit and underground).
• Establish and refine operating strategies and procedures to optimize resource utilization and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with business partners to ensure work is completed in accordance with approved Statements of Work (SOWs), on time and within budget.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with relevant experience in the mining industry.
• Minimum of six (6) years of mining experience, with at least four (4) years in progressive supervisory or technical roles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and concise information.
• Exceptional planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Sound understanding of safety and environmental requirements in the mining industry.
