Analytical Scientist/Senior/Principal Scientist

They are growing significantly and are seeking seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientist/Senior Analytical Scientists to join their dynamic team in Florida. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and optimization of novel formulations for respiratory therapeutics. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our esteemed CSO and contribute to the advancement of their innovative pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct standard and advanced lab activities with minimal supervision, including analyzing raw materials, in-process materials, and finished pharmaceutical products for quality, safety, purity, strength, and identity using applicable methods.
• Set up and operate lab equipment, troubleshoot instruments and analytical methods, and recommend corrective actions for out-of-specification and out-of-trend results.
• Execute approved method transfer protocols and develop and validate analytical methods.
• Write protocols, reports, methods, SOPs, and submission documents with minimal supervision.
• Conduct manufacturing activities for inhalation drug products.
• Support the evaluation and introduction of new technologies, generate new practical ideas, and understand experimental design.
• Communicate effectively with team members, internal and external customers, and other functional groups.
• Lead small project tasks with minimal supervision.
• Conduct lab work in accordance with SOPs and STPs, and follow Corporate Health & Safety rules and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Degree in a relevant scientific discipline with at least 3 years of experience in analytical development.
• Experience working with respiratory products is preferred.
• Broad analytical chemistry knowledge in HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, and other related analytical technologies and/or development and manufacturing of MDI/DPI/Nasal products.
• Understanding of FDA cGMP requirements as they apply to the pharmaceutical industry, USP methodologies, and ICH guidelines.
• Strong English language skills, including writing and oral communication.
