Job Overview:

Performs duties involving the implementation of an activity program, which meets physical, mental, psychosocial needs and interests of residents. They may design and provide programs to increase socialization, provide entertainment, promote physical activity, education and other cognitively stimulating programs for residents based on their needs. Reports to the Activity Director

Responsibilities:

- Assist in providing personal care to residents including activities of daily living (ADLs)

- Coordinate and participate in events for residents

- Collaborate with the care team to ensure the well-being of seniors

- Assist with social work tasks and community engagement activities

Skills:

- Experience in caring for seniors in assisted living or nursing home settings

- Proficiency in memory care techniques and strategies

- Ability to assist in planning and executing engaging events for residents
