**Service Manager**
**GO - Silver Spring, MD - Full Time**
Under the direction of the Fleet Manager, the Service Manager is responsible for leading the fleet and trailer service technicians and maintaining an efficient repair schedule. Service Manager should work well with others, be a strong team player, have a solid work ethic, and be able to work a 10 hour shift M-F with some Saturdays required.
***Daily tasks include:***
* Greet customers and offer excellent customer service from intake to release of their trailer/vehicle
* Determine and diagnose repairs needed, consult with and advice technicians on repair requirements
* Oversee and manage shops scheduling and workflow
* Prepare and provide customers with accurate estimates and invoices
* Order/replace auto and trailer parts as needed
* Maintain neat and organized shop and parts containers
* Assist Fleet Manager with proper maintenance schedule of fleet service and repairs, DOT files and accident reports
* Facilitate company driver training program
***Physical demands:***The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. May be required to assist or perform repairs when needed.
***Required education, licenses and experience*****:**
* High school diploma or GED
* Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
* Working knowledge of or willingness to learn DOT compliance regulations
* Computer knowledge a must
* Mechanical background in auto trailer service with management experience 5 years
* Forklift certified or willing be certified
Helpful Skills:
* Knowledge of both English & Spanish language skills.
