The Human Resources Generalist will report to the Director of Human Resources and assist with the day-to-day responsibilities within the HR organization. This role will be responsible for the development and execution of processes, procedures and programs within the HR organization. These responsibilities will be within the areas of onboarding, compensation, benefits, learning & development, performance management and organizational planning.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all employee inquiries and requests, providing excellent customer service with timely responses and follow-up.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and liaison for employees across different office locations, addressing general inquiries about policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Develop, implement, administer, and maintain benefit programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead communication efforts to educate employees on the value of benefit packages, including medical, dental, life, disability, and 401K plans.
  • Partner with managers to resolve employee issues such as performance concerns, absenteeism, leave requests, and policy enforcement.
  • Provide counseling, coaching, and guidance to managers on employee conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and separations.
  • Utilize comprehensive HR knowledge to provide tactical support across various HR functions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ADP and support employees with related queries.
  • Facilitate effective communication in training sessions and small group settings.
  • Collaborate effectively with other HR functions (Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Recruiting).
  • Ensure adherence to HR operations and policies, following established protocols and documenting new procedures as needed.
  • Manage performance review processes to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Align HR programs with business needs to support organizational goals.
  • Analyze exit interview and transition data to identify trends and report findings to senior management, aiming to enhance employee engagement and business outcomes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the HR department, including leave and accommodation management, job description management, and other tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • Team player, collaborator, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, work ethic, propriety and professionalism.
  • Approachability in a customer-focused environment.
  • Highly developed listening, analytical and creative problem solving skills.
  • Experience facilitating small group and virtual discussions and presentations.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced culturally diverse environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
  • Compliance-minded.
  • Versatility, based on the changing needs of the business.
  • Results/Outcome orientated.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office; adept at Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and documentation.
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field (preferred); 3 years HR experience.
  • Experience in growing, high-performing, high-demand environments.
  • Proven track record modeling HR best practices.
