Job Description

To support the steady growth, Barton & Gray Mariners Club is continuously recruiting sales and business development individuals based along the Eastern Seaboard and Great Lakes to work directly with the executive and sales teams to acquire new Club Members, develop new sales channels, and assist in the development and execution of club marketing and events.

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting and exceeding a sales quota for the acquisition of new Club members
  • Qualifying, developing, and maintaining leads database
  • Product demo’s
  • Event planning & execution
  • Account Management; Supporting the Customer experience through demonstrations, social outings, and regular follow-up
  • Assist in the development of marketing partnerships through various channels, partnerships, alliances, and referrals

Requirements:

  • 5 years of quantifiably successful sales and marketing skills
  • Excellent networking skills - Must enjoy social interactions and engagements
  • Proven ability to close new Club Members and create partnership opportunities through business development
  • Proven selling skills
  • Experience and ability to interact with High Net Worth individuals with maturity and discretion
  • Ability to create proposals, contracts, collateral, and deliver presentations
  • Ability to work independently and within team environment
  • Effective use of CRM tools (Salesforce, Goldmine, MS CRM, Highrise, Zoho etc.)
  • Extensive Travel required
  • Accountability

Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and marketing skills
  • Computer literacy; must display proficiency in MAC Applications, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, constant contact (or similar program)
  • Strong references (background check required)

Required education:

  • Bachelor’s

Required experience:

  • Sales & Marketing: 5 years
