Job Overview:

Our small 20-bed facility offers a realistic patient caseload that results in a reasonable workflow. This practice will allow you to get to know our residents. You much be able to work well independently.

Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living such as grooming, dressing, toileting, hygiene and mobility
- Provide Hands On support/Eye View to residents at all times
- Do resident personal laundry
- Carry out nightly cleaning duties as assigned
- Document information pertaining to residents' functional status or condition in appropriate flow sheet binder
- Report any changes or concerns regarding residents' condition to D.O.N. and/or Nurse on staff
- Attends/Participates in monthly team meetings as well as reads all pertinent resident information in staff communication log, daily progress notes and flow sheets

- Have the ability to recognize, participate, and adjust to change in situations and work assignments

-Has the freedom to work a flexible schedule to ensure staff rations are maintained at all times

Qualifications:

-Must be 18

-On the job training provided by Barton House

-Skills in nurturing and organizing similar to those in a domestic household

-Experience or interest in working with older adults

-Maturity, friendliness and enjoyment working with people

-Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

-No allergies to cats or dogs

-TB skin test upon hire

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
