If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives.JOB SUMMERY: Responsible primarily for the routing and shipping of customer orders in a timely and efficient manorQUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must be detail orientated and well organized.
  • Must have good attendance.
  • Must be able to do accurate reports and logs on time.
  • Must be able to multi-task efficiently.
  • Should have ability to read maps.
  • Should have basic computer skills.
  • Should have typing skills.
  • Must be able to work well with others.
  • Must be able to adhere to all safety policies.
  • Must be committed to ISO 9001and Continuous Improvement.
PRIMARY DUTIES:The primary duties of this employee are (but not limited to) the following: 
  • Print branch acknowledgements.
  • Assign individual orders to appropriate load.
  • Enter and maintain manifest information.
  • Print work orders and labels for shipping.
  • Communicate with Ft Worth and salesmen to fill loads.
  • Locate and scan POD information upon request.
  • Log and solve delivery and or order entry problems.
  • Back up for 2nd coordinator when needed.
  • Maintain all required logs.
  • Schedule rolls needed to load trailers.
  • Adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Adhere to Leggett & Platt Business Conduct Policy.
  • Adhere to ISO 9001policies and processes.
  • Continuously observe the process in his/her area of responsibility and immediately notify the department supervisor of any suspected nonconformance.
  • Exemplify a cooperative attitude to work effectively with others.
 As part of ISO 9001and to ensure continuity in the office during illnesses, vacations, leave of absences, etc., all positions in the office are required to cross train into other office positions as directed and coordinated by the Office Manager. Must participate in Safeguard, the Leggett & Platt Safety Management Policies and Procedures.The Office Manager and Branch Manager reserves the right to update and change job descriptions and work instructions.
