Bartow Precast, Inc. is Hiring a Quality Inspector Near Cartersville, GA
Bartow Precast is located in Cartersville, Georgia and manufactures precast concrete products for water, waste water, and electrical industries. Our products include gravity grease interceptors for restaurants and food service facilities, water and electrical utility vaults for private and municipal projects and many custom underground products for commercial use.
We have an immediate opening for a Quality Inspector.
This job is outdoors and requires someone willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
JOB DUTIES:
- Read and interpret shop drawings
- Inspect and verify precast concrete products are built per drawing specifications
- Assist with overseeing custom orders
- Communicate inspection results and recommendations with production team, supervisors, and management
- Scheduling production
REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST be able to accurately read a tape measure
- Outdoor construction experience
- Proficient in basic math, reading, and writing
- Computer skills helpful
- Bilingual is a plus
- Strong attendance record, reliable transportation, and ability to work 10-hour workday
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and meet the physical demands of the position
- Detail oriented with good organizational and time management skills
- Team player but also self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent communicator with all levels of the organization
- Comfortable in a fast paced family-oriented environment
