DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Oversee the administration of federal contracts from inception through completion, ensuring compliance with all contractual requirements.
· Draft, review, and negotiate contract terms and conditions to ensure alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
· Manage contract modifications, extensions, and renewals in collaboration with project teams and clients.
· Monitor contract performance, including deliverables, timelines, and budgets, to ensure compliance with contract terms.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for contracting officers and other stakeholders regarding contract-related issues.
· Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to federal regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and other applicable guidelines.
· Conduct regular compliance audits and reviews to identify and mitigate risks.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and ensure the company’s practices remain compliant.
· Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters and best practices.
· Prepare for and support external audits conducted by government agencies or third parties.
· Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals and contract requirements.
· Oversee invoicing, financial reporting, and cost control measures to maintain financial integrity.
· Monitor project expenditures and financial performance, providing analysis and recommendations for improvement.
· Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CPCM, CFCM, CPA) preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, compliance, and financial oversight, preferably within the federal contracting sector.
· Strong knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR, DFARS) and compliance requirements.
· Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Proficiency in financial management software and tools, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
