Reporting to: The Site Engineering Lead
Responsibilities

• Develop capital cost and engineering effort hour estimates  Prepare design requirement documents for new process and manufacturing capital projects
• Co-ordinate design efforts located on-site and remotely
• Support the power, controls & instrumentation group to execute deliverables
• Create final engineering installation packages and lead bid walkthrough activities
• Participate in system commissioning, verification, and qualification activities
• Prepare equipment specifications and review equipment to assure compliance with specifications.
• Prepare design basis, work tender, best value options analysis, cost estimating, and input to project schedules
• Provide engineering services during the construction phase
• Provide client-focused communication both written and verbal to ensure strong working relationships are fostered with clients

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (P. Eng) License is an asset
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written
• Team orientated mindset
• Solid experience, preferably from working in manufacturing, process and utilities environment.
• Mechanical and Process Engineering consulting and design
• Proven Project Management Experience
• Knowledge of Solid Works or Solid Edge
• Proven ability to multi-task while delivering multiple projects
• Ability to travel and work in the United States and Canada is an asset.
