BecTech, Inc. is seeking a Missile Defense Systems Architecture Engineer to assist in developing trade capability space envelope, architectural performance metrics at the Missile Defense Agency site in Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and perform Missile Defense Architecture Trade Studies, analyzing candidate architecture options for cost, performance and schedule and down-selecting options based on results. Prepare and deliver briefings and supporting data in support of an Architecture Requirements Package (ARP).

  • Assist with identifying and defining missile defense architecture gaps, challenges, needs, opportunities, and potential system mitigations

  • Support processes and procedures development of efforts to providing architecture solutions in support of closure of Missile Defense System capability gaps.

  • Coordinate with partner research centers on results and data for architecture trade studies through working group discussions. Document findings, assumptions, and tools used in trade study efforts.

  • Provide regular input in support of government leadership to reports and weekly charts involving task status, action item tracking, risks, and schedule.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's (STEM) degree
• 7 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or similar
• Active Secret Clearance
• Demonstrated ability to apply creative thinking to solve problems.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to analyze and resolve problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.

• Ability to develop and review technical memorandum, white papers, and briefings supporting findings and conclusions of analyses

• Ability to work independently, applying engineering rigor to analyze and resolve problems within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
