Basis Technologies is headquartered in Chicago, and our employees have the flexibility to work in an office location, completely remote, or a hybrid of the two. Please note, we are hiring on a remote working basis only in the U.S. and Canada.
About The TeamThe Accounts Payable team is a fast-paced, high energy group with an eagle eye focus on providing raving fan service day in and out. Contrary to popular belief, AP isn’t just about paying the bills! We work closely with other teams on reporting, reconciliations, month end close and yearly audit. The AP team is incredibly focused on automation and process improvements, so put on your thinking caps and bring those ideas!
WAYS YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE
- Responsible for being a first responder on all incoming inquiries both internally and externally.
- Manage the follow through on all AP related inquiries
- Manage and educate publishers on the MDR process
- Conduct quarterly lunch and learns with Finance Team
- Work directly with Sr. AP Specialist to resolve problems and answer questions regarding payments, reconciliations, and account questions.
- Process both publisher and non-publisher invoices with accurate GL codes, dates and approvers in both Chrome River and NetSuite.
- Ownership of assigned monthly uploads, including full ownership of the Search/Social upload process.
- Identify ways to streamline and apply automation to existing processes.
- Acknowledging and embracing diversity of thought and opinion, and approach with Beeps, clients, and vendors, regardless of background, culture, and organizational level. Specific examples include but are not limited to attending DEI initiatives and trainings and/or participating in self-led learning, commit to continuous improvement by actively working on personal and professional growth and working collaboratively with all team members, clients and vendors to build an inclusive culture.
- 3-4 years of relevant AP experience
- Strong growth mindset with a focus on team collaboration, innovation and analytical thinking
- Knowledge of publisher base, net terms, customer relationships of publisher accounts
- Clear understanding of internal controls
- Ability to take on multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively prioritize work
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual salary is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The total compensation package for this position may also include commission or bonus, company equity, and competitive benefits.
