Administrative Assistant – Williamsport Area
Bassett Engineering, municipal and environmental Engineers, winner of one national and multiple State awards, has an immediate opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant position in Montoursville, PA. The Administrative Assistant will work along side our Office Manager to ensure a smooth running office.
Job Functions:
- Greet clients and visitors.
- Telephone reception: Receive, transfer, and manage all calls.
- Occasional office errands including Post Office, and office supply runs.
- Supply inventory and ordering, as well as stocking supplies in the office including printer paper, stationery, general office supplies.
- Work closely with and provide administrative support to project managers and Engineers.
- Proofread correspondence, reports, proposals, agreements, and bid forms, etc. for spelling, grammar, punctuation and provide final review for overall integrity of company standards.
- Process incoming and outgoing project electronic and hard copy shop drawings.
- Track incoming and outgoing project documents electronically, scanning, filing hard copy transmissions.
- Clerical duties include word processing, document production, forms, spreadsheet tracking, memos, transmittals, scheduling appointments & travel, telephone interactions, and filing.
- Other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Two-year Business, or related, degree or certification.
- Three (3) years’ experience to include office support, administrative support.
- Advanced skills in administrative duties strongly preferred, especially document formatting.
- Must be able to track multiple projects at one time.
- Organizational, phone and people skills, and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with expertise in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be able to work in a high-paced work environment.
- Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Previous employment experience with an Architectural/Engineering Consulting firm is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team environment or to work independently on specific project tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
