Job Description & Responsibilities

Join an established group of neurologists in an academic setting

Opportunity to develop a neurology specialty program

Anticipated mix of specialty and general neurology, with at least 50% of the time in Stroke / Epilepsy

Mostly in-person outpatient clinic with opportunity for some remote tele-neurology

Opportunity for academic appointment at Columbia University and teaching Bassett IM Residents & Columbia-Bassett Medical Students

Inpatient & Outpatient Tele-Neurology support from University of Rochester

Very limited call; 2-4 days per month

Full spectrum case mix and diverse patient population

EMR-EPIC

Salary Range : $240,000 - $340,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare's good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement.

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards

Sign-on Bonus up to $100,000

Job Qualifications

MD, DO or MBBS

Board Eligible or Board Certified

New York state licensure

BLS certification required

Required stroke experience; reading EEG and / or performing EMG desirable

DEA Required
