Primary Functions: Coach and oversee all aspects of the wrestling program grades 9-12

Qualifications:

• High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree in education-related field preferred
• Previous head coaching experience preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication and organization skills; ability to motivate and teach
• Knowledge of wrestling fundamentals, strategy and strength training
• Possess or obtain all IHSAA required certifications

Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Instructing student-athletes on techniques, teamwork, discipline and work ethic
• Creating an environment that is positive and safe for the student-athletes
• Develop daily practice plans, including appropriate skill progression
• Set and maintain high standards for behavior and academic excellence
