Your Role At BatesvilleAs a Part-time Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for the safe handling of shipments, proper care and handling of inventory, and following safe practices and standard work procedures.

- Perform thorough inspection of each unit to ensure quality.
- Unload inbound caskets quickly, accurately, safely, and damage free.
- Ability to walk, lift, push, pull, etc.
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform various warehouse duties as requested.
- Operate various powered equipment efficiently and safely.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Basic computer skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Positive attitude
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- One-year related warehouse experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Inventory experience
- Dependable, honest, quick learner, excellent communication skills and team player
- Forklift experience
- Ability to learn new skills at a fast pace
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle and feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The employee may occasionally be required to crouch, or lift items as heavy as 50 lbs. This job may require the employee to see with clarity at both near and far distances.
