Paralegal Job Responsibilities Include:
- Assist attorney with all aspects of litigation from case assignment through trial
- Draft correspondence, client reports, pleadings, and discovery documents
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and experts
- Review and summarize depositions and other discovery documents
- Prepare documents for attorney for hearings and trials
- Calendaring of all deadlines, depositions, mediations, trials, etc.
- Internet research
Requirements
- Paralegal certificate or degree and college degree
- At least 5 years of litigation experience
- Experience billing time required
- Federal Court e-filing experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Must be a team player, willing to help other team members when needed as well as work independently
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
