Battle Copacking NC, LLC is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Mooresville, NC

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Able to do hourly checks on product and equipment
  • Test and monitor all blending processes related to QA/QC.
  • Perform all tests assigned by Director of Quality.
  • Maintain daily waste water checks.
  • Perform inspections on raw materials, finished product and retain samples.
  • record any defects and nonconforming product.
  • Able to communicate with all departments on any potential quality problems.
  • Record all results.
  • Maintain a safe and audit ready environment.
  • These are the tasks assigned to the quality technician but not limited to.
  • Attend pre-shift meetings with team.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Basic understanding of various software related to quality, recording and diagnosing
  • Basic knowledge of chemistry.
  • Problem solving skills; exercises good judgment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • HACCP, PCQI and SQF certifications or experience, preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Able to stand, reach, stretch, pick up and squat.
