Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team.

· Operates forklift equipment to support loading, unloading and put away functions.

· Ensures all shipments are prepared for either postal or commercial conveyance.

· Ensures bills of lading are prepared correctly, checks items to be shipped against work orders to ensure quantities are correct.

· Receives inbound materials and verifies information on packing list with purchase order to ensure accuracy of shipment.

· Ensures all pallets brought to the productions lines are free of debris and damages.

· Sorts, counts, labels, and logs inventory which is shipped or received.

· Inspects shipments for damages or defects, records discrepancies and informs purchaser or customer service agent for disposition.

· Assists in physical inventories as needed.

· Performs other duties as assigned by management.

· Responsible for food safety and product integrity.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehousing operations.

· Forklift certification

· Ability to read, write and speak the English language.

· Able to coach and teach employees

· Some proficiency with computer software systems (MS-Excel, Outlook, Word and any other Enterprise Resource Planning software)

Preferred Special Skills: Bilingual

Physical Demands

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

· Must be able to do the following constantly (8 hrs) a day:

Stand, bend, climb, twist (neck and waist), repetitive use of hand (power grasping), pushing/pulling, reaching above/below shoulder level, and lift up to 50lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
