This position is an integral member of the Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain FP&A group and the successful candidate will provide value-added analyses and insights through forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and variance analysis. This position also provides financial and accounting support to the Engineering, Procurement and Global Quality teams.
General Functions/Specific Responsibilities:

• Assist functional leaders in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecast process with a proactive mindset.
• Provide analytical, accounting and reporting support to the Global Functions such as Engineering, Procurement and the Global QA organization, including monthly fluctuation explanations of actuals vs. plan/forecast.
• Budget preparation and cost allocation - Assist in forecasting, analyzing, constructing, and allocating yearly budget to multiple business units.
• Accounting and Financial Analysis - Month-end close entries and review of general ledger accounts (accruals, reclasses, prepaid, balance sheet, T&E).
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly account reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze standard monthly management reports.
• Possess a strong mindset of continuous improvement and always be looking for efficiencies and improvements to the budget and the monthly close reporting processes.
• Establish rapport and build cooperative, respectful working relationships with relevant internal and external parties.
• Monthly capital & expense project variance analysis.
• Analyze Intercompany reports and work with various global accounting teams to resolve out of balances.
• Responsible for all SOX compliance related to the above duties.
• Assist the Consolidation group during quarter end close.
• Prepare ad hoc requests, and/or participate in special projects, as assigned.

Required Education / Skills / Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Public Accounting experience a plus, but not required.
• Prior inventory, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
• Interested candidates must possess high ethical standards, strong technical and analytical skills, and be a team player.
• Ability to meet deadlines with the utmost attention to details
• Ability to problem solve and present solutions. Advanced capability in Excel, PowerPoint and Word required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of personnel, including senior management.
• SAP and Hyperion experience is a plus.
