Baxter is an innovator in digital health and remote patient monitoring, with a focus on providing the most diagnostically accurate and patient-friendly cardiac and vital signs patch monitors in the industry. Currently, Baxter has FDA 510(k) clearance and CE Mark approval to market the Carnation Ambulatory Monitor (CAM) Patch and is presently launched in the U.S. and multiple international countries. The CAM Patch is a non-invasive, P-wave centric™ ambulatory cardiac monitor and arrhythmia detection device that is designed to improve patient compliance with its lifestyle-enabling patch design. Crafted to be worn comfortably and discreetly by adults and children (indicated for pediatric patients > 22 pounds), the CAM Patch is placed on the center of the chest, directly over the heart for optimal ECG signal collection. Distinguished from other products by its innovative sensing technology, the CAM Patch provides efficient detection and clear recording of the P-wave, the part of the ECG waveform that is essential for accurate arrhythmia diagnosis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying, measuring, and performing critical strategic opportunities aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Responsible for developing and delivering to key performance indicators including, but not limited to, report quality, report turnaround time, and employee retention at the respective IDTF.

  • Leading and developing Clinical Services Cardiac Managers who manage the individual technicians and report analysis at each IDTF.

  • Ensuring technician capacity needs at the respective IDTF are met to support report volume.

  • Experienced knowledge in cardiac rhythms and cardiac physiology and treatment pathways.

  • Provides clinical cardiac expertise to both commercial teams, including Sales & Marketing, and R&D teams, including engineering and regulatory. Lead, facilitate and support business growth through focused business initiatives and implementing a strategy for our IDTF efforts.

  • Maintaining IDTF compliance. Lead all aspects of the quality and efficiency of the clinical services teams. Assist with writing and implementing standard processes, department manuals, policies, and procedures that improve development and training.

  • Create and implement new protocols and procedures to improve efficiencies and levels of patient care.

  • Collaborate across functional boundaries to coordinate the inputs from leadership peers from additional IDTF site(s).

  • Follow documented procedures for all activities related to the Baxter Quality System.

  • Responsible for day-to-day staff management as well as the direction of day-to-day activities in accordance with established policies to provide the highest quality of cardiac monitoring clinical services.

  • Recruit, hire, evaluate, and schedule employees.

  • Monitor staff performance and provide guidance, support, and recognition. Develop and supervise performance metrics and process improvements.

  • Complete performance reviews for staff and facilitate the ongoing development of staff.

  • Coordinate employee disciplinary process and follow through to resolution. Ensure compliance with all state and regulatory agencies.

  • Review and make recommendations for improvement and enhancement of current services and development of new services.

  • Coordinate with the Clinical Services Trainer(s) on continuing education for existing staff and new hires.

  • Other job functions or responsibilities, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications/Education for this role:

  • Advanced ECG rhythm knowledge and competency in interpreting cardiac arrhythmias.

  • Associates Degree or two years college course work preferred.

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Holter Scanner or telemetry/monitor technician

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $128,000 to $252,000 plus an annual incentive bonus. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location
