What you'll be doing
  • Optimizes processes related to management of data and data sets; oversees the optimization of research processes and tools to create efficiencies and enable data sharing while ensuring and/or improving data quality; partners with business strategy to design solutions for improving data quality for analytic data sets; develops capacity models, reports and dashboards that optimize prioritization and decision making.
  • Proactively provides leadership and guidance to stakeholders to improve the quality and impact of data; works closely with department leaders to guide the evolution and maturation of analytics and reporting.
  • Partner with IT and IT Systems to a data-driven culture in the organization with focus on design and architectural thinking to drive data quality and reliability goals as well as keep up with new trends on regulations, data privacy, data collection, and data reporting.
  • Looks for signals and disposition and/or completing the signal detection both inside and outside the company that could indicate threats to continued success or opportunities to grow the business and mitigate risk and escalate or advise on response.
  • Owns Executive Management review and ensures execution at all levels.
  • Oversight of PRO Model Analysis, the network's tool for performance KPIs, and serve as an advisor to site leaders and appropriate stakeholders to ensure actions are taken.
  • Embrace and embed agile ways of working in support of a learn-fast culture and continuous improvement.
  • Cultivate a collaborative work environment with strong working relationships across the organization.
  • Leads overall coaching, training, development, and succession plans for the team.
What you'll bring
  • Significant experience (10 years) in Quality, Regulatory, and/or Manufacturing. 5 years of management experience.
  • Technical experience in drug, biologics, and medical device industry.
  • A degree in a life science, engineering, IT or analytics is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience (5 years) in data analytics, metrics, and insights, preferred statistical analysis
  • Experience collaborating large Quality or Regulatory organization; strong ability to motivate team with varying levels of experience while also collaborating with colleagues across the globe.
  • Proven leadership ability with a track record of making difficult decisions in a logical, rational manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a leader. Strong communication skills are essential

We understand compensation is an important factor as youconsider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we arecommitted to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive tobe more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated basesalary for this position is $176,000 - $264,000 annually. Theestimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary rangefor the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipatedrange based upon market data and other factors, all of whichare subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location,skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. Thisposition may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses,commission, and/or long-term incentive.
