SUMMARY OF POSITION:

This is a full-time position located in Eagan MN. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a fleet of company drivers to ensure a flawless execution of services for customers. This includes coordinating and scheduling the pick-up and delivery of loads in a timely and most cost-effective way, as well as ensuring drivers provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities of a Driver Manager also include holding drivers accountable for operating in a safe manner and complying with company, state and federal policies.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Dispatch drivers to ensure efficient use of company fleet and independent contractors.

· Maintain relationships with Independent Contractors.

· Maintain record of mileage, fuel used, repairs made, and other expenses.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

· Ensure compliance with government rules and regulations and files paperwork in support of this compliance as needed.

Qualifications - Ideal candidates for this position will have:

· Previous trucking industry experience especially managing/dispatching drivers

· Proficient with computers

· Knowledge of DOT safety requirements

· Ability to tolerate high stress situations.

· Strong communication, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.

· Ability to work in team environment.

· Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment

· Ability to tolerate high stress situations.

· Dependable.

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work professionally and effectively with a diverse group of individuals, both internal and external customers.

· Ability to make sound decisions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
