Beacon Veterinary Specialists is a well-established veterinary emergency specialty practice in Fremont. We are searching for a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team of professionals!
We’re offering a competitive hourly rate of $30 - 40/hr. We are looking for compassionate, motivated team players who have an interest in emergency medicine. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and ready to expand on their veterinary careers!
**Upon employment, staff will be asked to be on-call 2 times per month (Staff that are on-call will be compensated a flat rate)

Your primary responsibilities:
Performing or assisting in physical examinations
Participating in state-of-the-art surgeries including emergency, orthopedic, neurologic, and soft tissue
Anesthesia Monitoring
Client communication and education
Recommendation of treatment plans with estimated costs
Carrying out tasks as requested by the Veterinarian

Primary care veterinarians refer cases to us that require special treatment that they aren’t able to provide in their own hospital.
