Payscale: Non-bargaining level 1 ($14.73-$19.89 depending on experience)

Position Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Custodial Services Supervisor, the individual is responsible for the overall cleanliness and properly maintained condition of all BATA facilities and buses as it relates to custodial responsibilities. They will also be responsible for assisting the Building and Grounds Supervisor as needed and directed by that individual or their manager.

Essential Job Functions:

• Daily, weekly and/or monthly cleaning on the preset intervals previously determined for all facilities.

• Cleaning interiors & exteriors of buses including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping dusting, sanitizing and glass cleaning.

• Lifting upwards of 100lbs when installing shelters or dumping brake drums.

• Shoveling snow, spreading salt, mowing, trimming, raking, sweeping.

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

• Responsible for requesting and stocking all janitorial supplies needed for cleaning.
