Electrical Engineer

FREMONT, CA - On-Site

2 Year Project Contract Assignment

This position pays between $27.00 and $39.00 per hour.

Pay for this contract position is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Description:

• Design, develop, modify and evaluate electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications.
• Determine design approaches and parameters.
• Analyze equipment to establish operating data; conduct experimental tests and evaluate results.
• Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
• May also review vendor capability to support product development.

Required:

• Experience of power distribution and/or control system design of systems is a BIG plus

• Able to drive functional requirements and execute in a dynamic team environment

• Familiar with design for serviceability, manufacturability, reliability, etc.

• Proficient at troubleshooting systems with tools like network sniffers, protocol analyzers, and tool logs

• Experience in troubleshooting with problem-solving techniques like 5-why, 8D, fishbones, etc.

• Very Good Communication Skills required

• Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree
