Position Overview

BayCare Medical Group is actively recruiting an experienced Physician Assistant to join the Orthopedic Trauma Surgical team based at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida.

Highlights of this outstanding opportunity include:

• Experience (minimum of two years) as an Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant is required.
• This opportunity includes working with an experienced Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon and is a primarily inpatient position, including first assisting in the OR and consulting patients. Enjoy a very diverse trauma case load at a Level II Trauma Center.
• Work in a well-established and busy Orthopedic Surgery practice serving adult patients across the orthopedic spectrum. 
• Call includes one weekend per month and one day each week - post op rounding, and hospital phone calls.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of experience as an Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant is required.
• Board Certification by the NCCPA
• Ability to obtain a Florida license.
