Job Description:
Software Developers work collaboratively on small, autonomous teams reporting to a Development Manager. We create applications directly for end users as well as frameworks and tools used by developers across the organization. As owners of the development process for the products we build, teams are empowered to create solutions and find the right tools for the job. We use a variety of modern technologies to solve complex problems across a wide range of business domains for users all over the world. We work closely with a team of Software Developers and collaborate with Product Management daily. We engage with teams external to Product development like designers, cloud & data engineers throughout the development process

Our team develops solutions for Designing and Managing Analysis of experiments core to our Crop Science Business. Design Analysis combines experiment data to enable prediction/decisions for our business. Managing Analysis involves providing transparency into analysis status, overall performance and recommended steps to resolve issues.
Team Dynamic/Culture:
This is a team of 5 looking to grow to a team of 6 to balance delivery while maintaining focus on a healthy work/life balance. While working primarily solo on stories we are a highly collaborative team who has a balance of front end and back end skillsets, all of whom work really well together to come up with solutions that allow for a maintainable product. We pair and mob on complex problems or as needed and value TDD. We have a strong focus on quality and value autonomous development teams who define their work style and make technical decisions that best suit the problems we are tasked with solving.
