**Job Summary:**

Join our team as a key contributor in the development of new chemistries, encompassing wet chemistry, basic analysis, and material property measurement. You will play a crucial role in the laboratory operations, ensuring accurate testing and analysis to drive continuous improvement projects.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform routine chemical operations following protocols and work instructions

- Conduct materials testing such as density, viscosity, and pH measurements

- Propose process enhancements and contribute to the implementation of improvement projects

- Record, calculate, and report results accurately and in a timely manner

- Prepare solutions, maintain glassware cleanliness, and assist in overall lab operations

- Identify operational issues with instruments and equipment for resolution

- Adhere to safety protocols and participate in safety programs

- Stay informed on hazardous waste regulations and promptly address spills or leaks

**Skills:**

- Proficiency in wet chemistry techniques including weighing and mixing

- Strong oral and written communication abilities

- Attention to detail with analytical skills for result evaluation

- Capacity to multitask and prioritize tasks for optimal lab efficiency

**Qualifications:**

- BA/BS in Chemistry, Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field

**Preferences:**

- Three or more years of laboratory experience is preferred

- Familiarity with pH, density, viscosity measurements, and thermal testing equipment is advantageous

- Experience in moderate scale-up processes (gram to kilogram quantities) is a plus
