Maintain the cleanliness, beautification, and sound structure of the buildings and grounds facilities at the Bayfield County Fairgrounds. To ensure the bathrooms, buildings, and grounds are clean and well maintained before, during, and after the Bayfield County Fair and non-fair events. To ensure the grounds are open and maintained during scheduled events. Be responsible to help with vehicle storage and release. This is a permanent position, with hours scheduled primarily during the summer months. The position would work approximately 500 hours per year.· Schedule, store and release vehicles for winter storage including collection of monies & waivers.
· Maintenance of buildings & fences such as painting, construction & repair.
· Maintain cleanliness in the restrooms and shower facilities.
· Lawn & grounds maintenance including: mowing, pruning, raking, tilling, trimming etc.
· Basic plumbing and electrical work (replacing light fixtures, fixing leaks, etc.).
· Coordinate with persons using the grounds for events to ensure safety of participants and care of the buildings and grounds.· At least 18 years of age
· Must be responsible, honest, dependable, punctual and trustworthy. 
· Must be able to work independently, (to be on call), and to be able to supervise others, if needed.
· Must work well with other employees and members of the public
· Hold a valid WI driver's license. 
· Experience in light carpentry work, basic plumbing, and electrical applications would be preferred. · Ability to work independently and accomplish tasks in a timely fashion. 
· Ability to supervise other personnel if needed. 
· Experience in driving a tractor. 
· Be able to use a lawnmower, string trimmer, pruning shears, and other lawn maintenance equipment. 
· Skilled in use and care of a wide variety of tools and equipment
· Experience in carpentry work, basic plumbing, electrical applications, or the ability to learn these skills.
