Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Long-Term Care (LTC)
Location: Arbor Care Centers - Neligh, Neligh, NE 68756
Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) / Assisted Living Facility (ALF)
Shift: 12-hour shifts (6a-6p), every other weekend, rotating holidays
Pay:

• Local Candidates (within 50 miles): $47/hr

• Traveler (traveling more than 50 miles): $29/hr on W2 (taxable) $1044 weekly non-taxable per diem

Are you a compassionate and experienced RN looking to make a difference in a smaller, rural long-term care setting? Arbor Care Centers in Neligh, NE, is seeking dedicated RNs to join our skilled nursing team and provide top-quality care to residents.
Position Details:

• Unit: Long-Term Care (LTC) / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

• Unit Type: LTC/SNF

• Care Setting: Post-Acute

• Shift Length: 12 hours

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

• Bed Capacity: 70 beds, with an average census of 30 residents

• Charting System: PCC (PointClickCare)

• Staff Ratios: 1 charge nurse per shift

Job Responsibilities:
As an RN in this role, you will collaborate with LPNs and other team members to provide comprehensive care to residents, including:

• Medication and treatment administration

• Blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration

• IV medications (antibiotics, hydration, etc.)

• TPN and tube feedings

• Wound care, lab draws, specimen collection, trach care, and oxygen management

• Foley and catheter care

• Assistance with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)

• Assessment charting, vital sign monitoring, and incident reporting

Special Considerations:

• Common Diagnoses: Residents may include LTC, skilled rehab, hospice, dementia, and those with wound vacs, dialysis, or trach needs.

• Nursing Experience: Ideal candidates will have 2 years of experience in smaller, rural healthcare facilities and be comfortable managing a wide range of patient needs.

• Advanced Responsibilities for RNs: Central line care (rare), IV starts, and admission orders.

Shift & Scheduling:

• 12-hour shifts: 6a-6p

• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend

• Holiday Requirements: Rotated

• Floating: May occasionally float within the building or, rarely, to another facility for PRN shifts.

• Scrub Color: Professional scrubs (any color).

Requirements:
