Registered Nurse - Wound Care
Full Time
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30 pm
Compensation depends upon candidates years of experience
Hourly Pay Range: $32.00 - $48.77/per hour

- RN to BSN program
- Clinical Advancement Program
Provides clinical leadership for the wound care program to enhance quality of care and outcomes. Acts as a nursing educator providing ongoing nursing education activities including nursing orientation, patient and family teaching and other nursing education initiatives under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer.
- Establishes a leadership role in the wound care program, establishing standards of care across the hospitals and programs in collaboration with Select Medical wound care experts.
- Collaborates with Medical leadership including physicians
- Reviews and implements policy guidelines
- Leads wound care commmittee
- Assess patients and is proactive in treating and preventing wounds
- Acts as expert in treating wounds
- Performs other duties as requested
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid State RN or Physical Therapist License required
- Previous hospital nursing experience required
- Certified BLS required
- Excellent presentation skills and organizational skills required
Preferred Experience
- Inpatient Wound Care experience preferred
- BSN preferred
- WCC,CWCN, CWOCN or CWS preferred
