Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, repairing, and maintaining equipment and machinery
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document maintenance activities
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
Always make sure exterior & interior of building to be clean, well
maintained, & in proper structure
All garbage cans, whether inside or outside of building to be emptied &
clean
Check out of order rooms to repair so as not to be out of order more than
24 hours unless it requires extensive work.
Experience:
- Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Experience with welding and fabrication techniques
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Ability to troubleshoot issues with logic controllers
- Supervisory or leadership experience is a plus
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills
