Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the designer focused on optimizing app experiences on Google Play.
- Communicating the user experience at various stages of the design process by using wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and/or high fidelity prototypes
- Represent UX at the leadership level, helping guide product direction and business requirements for the year.
- Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to define requirements. Manage projects and stakeholders.
- Develop concepts for early stage products. Provide data-informed insights to improve existing experiences.
- Advocating design excellence by focusing on user needs and design consistency
- Apps and Loyaty - Exchanging Loyalty Play Points toward subscriptions, short and long term
- Subcription win-back offers "SWOOP"
- Everboarding - Apps comparison, justified recommendations, supporting ongoing in-product survey work (Apps detail page, Search and post survey upsell)
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in User Experience Design, HCI, Interaction, data visualization, or in a similar industry.
- Experience using UX tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Framer, etc.).
- Experience collaborating with Engineers, Content Strategists, and Product Managers throughout the design process.
- Relevant work experience in designing end-to-end customer-facing consumer products
- Familiarity navigating product development processes
- Understanding of user research techniques and how they can be applied to problem solving
- Experience creating prototypes for usability testing
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
- Strong, clean visual design aesthetic and appreciation for design craft.
