Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician

W2 Contract

Salary Range: $68,600 - $72,800 per year

Location: San Carlos, CA - Onsite Role

Job Summary:

As a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for manufacturing pharmaceutical products in a GMP environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily manufacturing tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Weigh materials and prepare solutions and production materials.
• Set up and verify production equipment.
• Perform manufacturing tasks, including fabrication and packaging.
• Document production activities in manufacturing batch records.
• Clean up production equipment and production area.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED and 3-5 years of related experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
• GMP Training in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Experience with analytical balances, pipettors, mixers, etc.
• Experience with liquid handling, pouring, and filtering.
• Able to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Able to read, understand, and legibly enter data in production batch records. Able to read and understand equipment manuals.
• Proficient with using a calculator
• Able to recognize and communicate practical problems in the production environment. Able to correct issues under supervision.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment to work around potential fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Able to fulfill physical demands of the role, such as the need to stand, walk, sit, use hands, or talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
