Description

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide transportation for residents to and from doctor's appointments and dialysis appointments. 

Report physician orders given from doctor's appointments to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.

Prepare residents for appointments.

Requirements

Must have a Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate or Emergency Medical Technician or previous patient transport experience.

Must have no moving violations or accidents on Motor Vehicle Record.

Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to residents being transported.

Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and medical offices.

Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm when interacting with residents.
