What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with Youth: Previous coaching or experience working with children in sports is essential.
• Sports Knowledge: A solid understanding of football and the ability to teach its fundamentals effectively.
• Communication Skills: Ability to connect with and motivate kids while maintaining clear communication with parents and team members.
• Passion for Coaching: Enthusiasm for sports and a commitment to instilling values such as teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
• Certification: First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Background Check: Must pass a district-required background check.
• Tech Savvy: Reliable access to a smartphone or computer for communication.
• Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the program locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging flag football sessions designed for various age groups and skill levels.
• Provide expert coaching to help participants enhance their skills and performance.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment where kids can thrive both athletically and personally.
• Collaborate with a supportive team to develop and implement innovative sports activities.
• Arrive on time, take attendance, and ensure the safety and well-being of all participants until they are picked up.

Schedule and Compensation:

• Sessions are held directly after school, with start times ranging from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
• Instructional sessions last for 1 hour.
• Pay is per session and varies based on experience.
