Job Title: Account Manager

Reports to: VP of Retention 

Salary: $20 per hour ($41,600 annualized), plus commission 

Summary: The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is the leader in advancing marketplace trust. Due to recent expansion, BBB Midwest Plains seeks to add an Account Manager to join our BBB Retention and Non-Dues Revenue team. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the satisfaction of Accredited Businesses in the region. Depending on the candidate's location, hybrid work options may be available. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• High level of integrity and a strong work ethic: The candidate should possess strong moral principles and a diligent approach to their work. 
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills: Effective communication is crucial in this role to build and maintain strong working relationships with Accredited Businesses.
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting: The candidate should have some experience or knowledge in analyzing and reporting data, which will be useful in assessing the performance and impact of Accreditation. 
• Hardworking and dependable: The candidate should be reliable, dedicated and willing to put in the necessary effort to meet the expectations of the role. 
• Self-motivated, persistent and goal-oriented: The ideal candidate should possess intrinsic motivation, persistence and a focus on achieving set goals. 
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business: While a degree in business or marking is preferred, equivalent work experience may also be considered.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
