Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

DOOR ASSEMBLER- THE EMPLOYEE WILL BE FABRICATING PARTS AND ASSEMBLING PRECUT WOOD AND METAL DOORS. USING POWER TOOLS SUCH AS : NAIL GUNS, STAPLES, RULERS, POWERED SHEARS.

YOU WILL BE ATTACHING METAL PANELS TO DOORFRAME, USING HAND TOOLS OR RIVET GUNS. MARK POSITIONS OF HINGES ON DOOR, USING TEMPLATE AND SCREWS HINGES.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Ability to follow instructions.
• Maintain and obtain proper tools and supplies for specified jobs.
• Responsible for safety and maintaining work area clean.
• May perform any combination of the following assembly lines structural parts, such as doors, pocket frames, and assembling units.

Using hand tools and portable power tools.

• Smoothing of edges with sander.
• Punches or drills holes for fastening, using hole punch or power drill.
• Align holes and screws or bolts to hold frame components together.
• Must be able to read and use a tape measure.
• Pushing, Pulling and tugging on doors.
• EE will be loading, unloading, palletizing and assembling doors as well as door products. EE will also be assembling doors and or door products as needed.

EE should have some experience working with power tools. EE must be able to push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Please make sure the employee knows that they will be working with doors that weigh anywhere from 50 lbs. to 200 lbs.

• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Education and / or Work Experience Requirements :

• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• High school diploma or GED required
