BCA Advantange Academy of Hillsborough is Hiring a Cafeteria Aide - Bell Creek Academy Near Riverview, FL
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures that all students are provided with a meal.
- Help supervising students during their lunch time.
- Helps students with opening packages, juice boxes, etc.
- Cleans after every lunch break during lunch time.
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of cafeteria and assists with end of day cleaning and close down.
- Maintains efficient and smooth flow of service and works closely with coworkers to assure that students, staff and faculty have a pleasurable dining experience, and that all students are provided with a meal.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Medium work: ability to lift, push and/or pull objects, which may approximate 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for up to six (6) continuous hours.
- Ability to stand, stoop, reach and bend; mobility of arms to reach, dexterity of hands to grasp and manipulate large and small objects.
- Work with caustic and non-caustic chemicals.
- Ability to work with frequent interruption and to supervise a variety of tasks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- The employee may be required to work around loud noise.
- Ability to work in an inside environment.
- Ability to work in a hot environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, completion of GED or equivalent courses
- Food Service Experience preferred
