BCforward is Hiring an Employee Relations Manager Near Eagan, MN

BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Employee Relations Manager for an opportunity in Eagan, MN – Hybrid!

Position Title: Employee Relations Manager

Location: Eagan, MN – Hybrid

Anticipated Start Date: 07/15/2024.

Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.

Expected Duration: 6 months.

Job Type: Contract – (Part time 20-25hrs. per week)

Pay Range: $45-60/hr. on W2

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description:

  • Address Workplace Concerns: Ensure workplace concerns are addressed promptly and resolved fairly in accordance with relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Partner with Compliance & Legal: Collaborate with Compliance & Integrity and Legal teams to handle Ethics Line issues prudently, mitigating organizational risk. This includes partnering with Compliance on investigations when appropriate.
  • Provide Leadership Coaching: Offer comprehensive support to leaders on the Performance Improvement Process, including reviewing and providing feedback on Performance Improvement Plans and ensuring appropriate follow-up.
  • Standardize Processes: Develop and implement common processes, practices, and tools to ensure consistency in addressing employee relations (ER) situations.
  • Track and Analyze ER Issues: Create and maintain a process to track ER issues across Enabling Functions to identify trends and training opportunities.
  • Regular Reporting: Establish a regular reporting cadence for the Enabling Functions HRBP team on the status of ER issues.
  • Leadership Development: Make recommendations to enhance leadership capabilities.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

· HRBP Experience: 4 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a related role.

· Employee Relations Experience: 4 years of direct experience in Employee Relations.

· Employment Law Knowledge: Strong knowledge and practical application of employment laws.

· Project Management: Demonstrated project management experience.
