BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated – Payroll Tax Associate

Job Title: Tax Associate / Payroll Tax Associate

Expected Duration: 6 Months

Location: Norfolk, VA 23510

(Hybrid Model 3 Days work from office, 2 days work from home)

Job Description:

· Employment Tax experience, including familiarity with Form(s) 941, 941-X, 940, Schedule R, federal wages and withholding, social security and Medicare taxes, employment tax deposit rules, and payroll credits.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to utilize functions such as macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas to streamline reconciliation tasks.

· Strong analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.

·Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

·Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

·Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is strongly preferred.

·CPA or CPP designation is desirable.
