BCforward is seeking highly motivated and experienced Payroll Tax Associates.

Job Title: Payroll Tax Associates

Location: Norfolk, VA (Hybrid Job)

Duration: 6 Months Possible extension

Skill Profile:

• Account/Check Reconciliation- Staff

• Employment Tax experience, including familiarity with Form(s) 941, 941-X, 940, Schedule R, federal wages and withholding , social security and Medicare taxes, employment tax deposit rules and payroll credits.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to utilize functions such as macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas to streamline reconciliation tasks.

• Strong analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.

• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is strongly preferred.

• CPA or CPP designation is desirable.
