Program Manager III
BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivatedProgram Manager III location.
Position Title: Program Manager III
Location: Washington, Menlo Park, or Austin(Remote)
Anticipated Start Date: [May 6th 2024]

Job Type: Contract - [FULL TIME (40 Hours a week)]
Pay Range:$60-$65
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Role Mandate:
As a Policy Programs Manager, Augmented Reality and AI, you will work with internal and external collaborators to design, create, develop and execute on various experiences and events that demonstrate the value of AR and AI to a policy audience. The role involves developing policy partnerships with various policy stakeholders, and design initiatives to build community and outreach capability. You will do this in close collaboration with various XFN colleagues internally, including other policy, product, marketing, partnerships and legal teams. The role requires knowledge and experience of AR and AI, and the various policy considerations associated with these frontier technologies.

Role Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
* Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and helping to develop, integrate and execute policy program and public affairs activities
* Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to both internal and external partners
* Analyze resource needs and policy impact to plan and assess the feasibility of projects
* Confer with management, policy and public affairs teams to discuss project specifications and procedures
* Review and recommend contracts and cost estimates
* Develop and review product designs and changes
* Consult or negotiate with internal and external partners to prepare project specifications
Performance Measurement:
Performance will be measured based on work delivered.
Must-Have Skills:
* Ability to develop, plan and execute events, partnerships and programming in real-world environments
* Ability to analyze and synthesize technology policy issues and build programs and partnerships relevant to these issues
* Ability to work independently and to work collaboratively across horizontal XFN functions
Nice-to-Have Skills:
* Knowledge of the tech environment, ideally with a focus on public policy and the digital economy

Educational Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. Master's degree preferred
