BC forward is currently seeking a highly motivated UAT Tester for an opportunity in New York, NY

Position Title : UAT Tester

Expected Duration : 5 Months Contract

Job Type : FULL TIME (>

30 HRS WEEKLY), CONTRACT , HYBRID

Pay Range : $43.50 / Hour - $44.83 / Hour

Experience :

• 3-6 years' experience in a large-scale financial service are consulting firm
• Knowledge of Banking and Trading products
• Experience in data analysis and user acceptance testing for multiple changes at once
• Proven experience working autonomously and delivering high quality work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to support a cross-functional project team with varied disciplines and stakeholders at varied levels of seniority

Critical Competencies / Soft Skills :

• Oral communication - confidence engaging with key stakeholders and communicating testing results and deviations
• Written communication - experience writing clear, concise emails and compiling a summary of test results with supporting detail
• Relationship building - ability to assimilate in organization and proactively form working relationships with key stakeholders across varying levels of seniority
• Results orientation - desire to work independently, assist in problem solving and be intellectually curious in order to proactively address testing issues

Preferred Technical Skills :

• Tableau - run queries for multiple dates and datasets
• Excel - strong data analysis skills, ability to easily run various views (by line of business and legal entity) of large data files
• MS Teams - for regular communication and collaboration on project workstreams
• JIRA : will not own JIRA but will liaise with Product Owners and Technology

Job Description :

Job Overview : Perform User Acceptance Testing and communicate test results in support of Liquidity Management Product Owners

Responsibilities :

• Review JIRAs for User Acceptance Testing success criteria
• Run multiple Tableau queries to produce testing dataset
• Analyze and compare large datasets
• Document test case execution, test results and defects in detail
• Communicate to product owners and other internal stakeholders test results and facilitate required sign off with a sense of urgency
• Track any outstanding testing questions post review of results
