The attorney will handle cases before U.S. immigration courts, USCIS, and other governmental agencies, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Duties:Provide legal representation to clients on immigration matters, including appearances before U.S. immigration courts, USCIS, and U.S. state courts.Conduct thorough consultations and preparation sessions with clients for interviews and hearings.Analyze legal precedents, laws, rulings, and agency guidance to determine optimal legal strategies.Manage a large caseload independently, ensuring all case deadlines are met.Supervise and guide paralegals in case preparation, including document review and drafting.Prepare legal documents such as cover letters, memoranda, briefs, and appeals.Keep clients informed of case progress through various forms of communication.Develop and litigate cases, conducting legal research and strategy development.Represent clients in court and administrative proceedings, including witness preparation and arguments.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active California State Bar license in good standing.Minimum 2 years of experience as an Immigration Attorney.Experience with USCIS and removal proceedings is required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong understanding of legal principles, research methods, and court procedures.Exceptional interpersonal skills and client service orientation.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, or related software.Skills:Knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective strategies.Organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.Effective time management and prioritization skills.Problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.Discretion, confidentiality, and good judgment in handling sensitive information.Benefits Offered:Competitive wage.Paid time off, including holidays, bereavement leave, and sick time.Retirement savings plan with firm match.Group medical, dental, and vision plans.Employer-covered supplemental benefits.Voluntary supplemental benefits.Continuing legal education opportunities.
