The candidate will handle a diverse range of immigration cases, meet with potential new clients, and coordinate legal strategies. The attorney will also supervise staff, conduct legal research, and represent clients in court. Fluency in Spanish is required, and candidates with 1 year of immigration experience are preferred. Duties:Meet with potential new clients to discuss their immigration needs.Coordinate and develop case and legal strategies.Manage multiple cases, oversee paralegals, projects, and ensure deadlines are met.Train and supervise staff, including paralegals and legal assistants.Prepare, revise, and file court documents, motions, briefs, and memoranda.Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments.Stay informed about legislative changes and judicial case law in immigration law.Market the law firm's services to attract new clients.Work one Saturday a month, with potential for bonuses for new clients signed during these days.Cross-sell other legal services offered by the law firm.Handle court hearings and trials, providing representation to clients.Develop expertise in Family Petitions, Asylum, Individual Hearings, SIJIS, U-Visas, Waivers, etc. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA Accredited Law School.Active Bar License in Good Standing from any US State or Puerto Rico.Fluent in Spanish.1 years of immigration experience preferred.Motivated lawyers with experience in other legal areas who wish to practice immigration law are also encouraged to apply.
